Johanniter

Johanniter is an interspecific vine variety, used in organic farming for its high resistance to fungal and fungal diseases. It was bred by J. Zimmermann at the State Viticulture Institute in Freiburg in 1968. It was created by crossing the Riesling x Seyve Villard x Pinot Gris x Chrupka white varieties.

It is a mid-early cider variety. It produces full-bodied, high-quality wines with sufficient acid content. For quality wines, aromatic ripeness of grapes with a fruity character is necessary.

In our winery, it belongs to the Organic series, which represents wines from vineyards with an ecological management system.
